Blogging Confession

Life in Iowa has been pretty uninteresting lately. It has been the coldest Iowa winter that we have experienced. We have had tons of snow and there have been very few days above freezing over the last couple of months. Several times this winter the local schools have been cancelled due to the weather. When it gets really bad even the shopping mall will close. I'm hoping that warmer weather is coming soon.

What have we been doing on these cold winter days? Matt has never been happier pulling teeth! That and the rest of the stuff dentists do. He is given more freedom all of the time and is really enjoying it. His current rotation provides him with a dental assistant that he has grown very fond of. Not sure what he'll do in a couple of weeks when he has to go back to not having a second set of hands. At least it will only be for a little longer. Matt will be going to a couple more interviews over the next couple of weeks. We hope he will fall in love with one of the practices and communities. We will let you know. Now that it is March, Matt is getting very excited for his fantasy baseball draft. Here comes "summer guy". Hee Hee!

I have been busy at work, orienting new nurses and teaching nursing students. On my days off, I try to get caught up on all those things I don't do when I work. I have also tried to convince myself to start running again. It just isn't as much fun when you aren't in shape and running on a treadmill gets old, pretty quickly. So when I can't convince myself to go running or do something else productive, I like to go blog hopping. I'm not sure if that is the correct term, but that's what I call it. I haven't figured out why I like looking at blogs so much. Especially when I find myself reading a blog of somebody I do not know. Am I crazy? I think Matt thinks I am. I've seen those quizzes on other people's blogs that say I am __% addicted to blogging. I have never taken that quiz for fear of the result. You may be thinking, "You NEVER update your blog. How could you be so addicted?" Well, I haven't figured that out, but I have changed my background around a whole bunch recently. That has to count for something.

Hey Leticia, I think that you can count your "spying" by blog hopping for visiting teaching and home teaching. My ward let's us do it that way. You just read their blogs, and if it sounds like everything is okay, then you don't have to worry about them. You can leave a spiritual comment if you want.

Leticia,
Thanks for de-lurking on my blog! Now I know who has been visiting from Iowa. I didn't know I knew anyone in Iowa!
